Fleet raises product throughput rates as Vida withdraws range – Mortgage Strategy

Fleet Mortgages is increasing its fixed rate product move rates this afternoon, while Vida Homeloans will withdraw its new business and product move range tonight.

Fleet Mortgages is re-pricing its fixed rate product transfer products from 5pm today, 17 September 2026, following product changes introduced last week.

Standard 2-year fixed-rate, limited-rate HMO/MUFB product transfer rates will increase by 20 basis points.

Rates for standard five-year fixed-rate and limited company HMO/MUFB products will increase by 10 basis points.

The lender said there are no changes to the new core business product suite, while its product transfer tracking products will remain unchanged.

To secure a product from the current product carriage range, all KFI orders must be submitted by 5pm on September 17, 2026.

Meanwhile, Vida Homeloans has given advance notice that it will withdraw its new business mortgage range and transfer products at 11.59pm on 17 September.

The lender will then relaunch the new domain on the morning of September 18.

Under its transitional arrangements, Vida said that to ensure cases progress as smoothly as possible, initial decisions on the chosen product must be completed, all fees paid, mandatory documents uploaded, and the case progressed to the “Application Received” stage by 11.59pm on Thursday 17 September.

Without completing these steps, Vida said she may not be able to progress the case and may have to move it back to the DIP stage.

The lender also noted that the customer must be present or have access to their own phone when paying the fee, as this will be required for payment verification or authentication purposes.

Vida added that Pathway products do not have a £195 assessment fee payable for a limited time.

Yesterday, Aldermore, Foundation and The Mortgage Works announced they would be making changes to their product ranges this week, with several rate increases and some products withdrawn completely.
