Recognition Bank appoints Arbib as CROO – Mortgage Strategy

Recognize Bank has appointed Ronil Arbib as its new Chief Revenue and Operations (CROO).

In the newly created role, Arbib will bring together Recognize Bank’s lending, savings, operations, product and marketing functions.

The new structure is intended to allow Recognize Bank to identify and respond to market opportunities more quickly, from developing new products and entering new markets and channels to origination, completion and ongoing management of clients.

Arbib has been with Recognize Bank for six years. She joined as head of customer experience in 2020 before becoming chief operating officer in 2022.

As COO, Arbib oversaw technology, data, change, product, HR and operations, along with the end-to-end customer journey.

Simon Pitman, CEO of Recognize Bank, said: “Ronelle has played an important role in the development of Recognize Bank over the past six years and has a strong understanding of our customers and how the bank operates. Her appointment as Chief Revenue and Operations Officer is a natural next step as we position the bank for further growth.”

“Having been part of Recognize Bank’s journey over the past six years, I am thrilled to take on this new role as we enter the next phase of our growth,” Arbib said.

“Bringing these functions together gives us the opportunity to look at the customer and trading journey end-to-end, from identifying what our brokers and clients need and developing the right products, all the way through creation, completion and ongoing support.”

Last week, Recognize Bank joined the Bridge and Development Lenders Association as a member lender.
