The organization has appointed Fouz Ahmed as Regional Account Director for the East of England, to support brokers dealing with complex residential and buy-to-let mortgages.
Ahmed has 12 years of experience in the mortgage sector, where he worked as a mortgage advisor and business development manager.
He began his career as a consultant at Countrywide, before moving to Santander and then to TSB. He joins the organization from Metro Bank where he spent eight years, mostly in business development.
The institution said that Ahmed will work closely with brokers across the East to help them find suitable lending solutions for clients whose circumstances fall outside standard lending criteria.
Grant Hendry, Enterprise Sales Director, said: “Foz brings a valuable mix of experience from both sides of the advisor and BDM relationship. Having worked as an advisor himself, he understands the challenges brokers face when presenting more complex issues and the importance of having a lender who can offer broad product range, flexible underwriting and hands-on support.”
“Having worked as a consultant and BDM, I understand the importance of having a lender that takes the time to understand the situation and work with the broker to find a solution,” Ahmed said.
