Afin Bank joins the MAB Lending Committee – Mortgage Strategy

Afin Bank has joined the lenders committee of the Mortgage Advisory Bureau (MAB).

The specialist lender’s full range of residential mortgages and buy-to-let loans will now be available to MAB advisers.

Afin Bank provides lending options to borrowers such as self-employed and contract workers, people with more complex incomes, qualified professionals looking for a higher income loan, high net worth borrowers, and foreign nationals on a UK work visa.

“It can be more difficult for borrowers to get a mortgage if their situation is a little different, perhaps because of their job or income,” says John Smith, head of bridging at Afin Bank. “Good advice is important in these cases, which is why we’re delighted to be working with Mortgage Advice, which shares Afin’s passion for helping more people get the mortgage they deserve.”

“Afin assesses each borrower’s financial situation and underwrites each mortgage individually, so whether they are a first-time buyer, a mover, or someone looking to remortgage with a new deal, we look forward to supporting MAB Advisors as they help their clients get the right mortgage.”

Rachel Geddes, Director of Strategic Lender Relations at Mortgage Advice Bureau, adds: “At MAB, we are committed to helping our clients say yes to more, and Afin joining our team of lenders is another way of delivering on that promise.”
